I was one of 78 fortunate creatives who were selected to work on the Nike78 project which was created by designer Paul Jenkins. Each creative was supplied with a pair of Nike trainers and briefed to simply challenge their function. Above is my submission and here is a short rationale explaining how I arrived at this outcome:

For many, a pair of Nike trainers represents an instrument which contributes to them conquering whatever environment they choose to be challenged by. Whether it’s on the Olympic stage or down the local park their trusty pair of Nikes will be there to step their game up and prepare them for the contest ahead. Inspired by the space-age aesthetic of the pair of Nikes I received I wanted to create, using only the trainers as they came, a series of landscapes which could potentially form the environments where sports enthusiasts choose to train and compete in the future.
